Join us for a day of creative writing inspired by the tidal waters, woods, meadows and flowers at Clamerkin Wild Flower Farm and studio. Discover ways to respond to our beautiful environment through a series of gentle prompts and guided exercises led by novelist and lecturer, Judith Heneghan, with ample time to wander and observe. Create something new or use the time to deepen and enrich work-in-progress. You may also like to make your own cyanotype image using flowers and foliage you gather yourself - a unique momento of your day - and learn more about the SSSI here at Clamerkin.
A picnic lunch and refreshments will be included. Suitable for all levels of experience but adults only, on this occasion. Please let us know in advance of any dietary or access requirements. Collections from ferry points at Yarmouth & Cowes can be arranged.
Judith Heneghan is a novelist, lecturer and tutor of Creative Writing with over twenty years’ experience delivering workshops and mentoring emerging writers. Her fiction includes Snegurochka (2019) and Birdeye (2024) both published by Salt.
